About Me
As the Research Lead for Law, Education and Society at the University of Hertfordshire, my academic and professional work is dedicated to addressing the complex regulatory challenges posed by emerging technologies.
My current focus lies heavily in the governance of Generative AI, agentic systems, and Deepfakes. I analyze these disruptive technologies through a multi-layered doctrinal lens, examining their interactions with the EU AI Act, the Digital Services Act (DSA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Online Safety Act (OSA), and fundamental human rights frameworks such as Articles 8 and 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
Beyond traditional academic research, I actively translate legal theory into actionable policy, providing expert evidence to parliamentary committees and regulatory bodies.
